Breaded tofu, caramelized onions, white rice and parsley and radishes salad

Breaded tofu
Ingredients:

* 1 block firm or extra-firm tofu, pressed
* 1/3 cup soymilk
* 2 tbsp mustard powder
* 2 tbsp corn starch
* 1 tsp wasabi powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp black pepper
* 3/4 cup bread crumbs

Preparation:
Whisk together the soymilk, mustard, spices until smooth in a wide bowl. Place bread crumbs in a separate bowl.
Coat each piece of tofu with corn starch, then with the soymilk mixture, then coat with bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.

For a lower fat alternative, lay tofu piece on a covered baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, turning once, until golden.
